The 西都书院规划合作计划(CPC) is a joint Framingham State University and 立博体育登录 Community College college-access initiative, aimed at connecting area youth from underrepresented communities, 第一代大学生, and adults, who are not in the traditional college-age group on a path towards the completion of a certificate or a college degree.
RN to BSN Pathway
Framingham State University and 立博体育登录 Community College are pleased to announce a new partnership that provides 立博体育登录 students who earn their associate’s degree in Nursing with seamless admission into Framingham State’s Nursing Program to complete their bachelor’s degree.
The “RN to BS in Nursing” Program aims to streamline the process for students to earn their bachelor’s degree in a field that is facing a large shortfall in qualified job applicants due to retirements.
“We are excited for this partnership and the educational opportunities this will provide our students,” said 立博体育登录 Director of Admissions and Recruitment Alison McCarty. “We have been flooded with interest in our nursing program from applicants who have noticed our strong license exam pass rates and have heard about our concept-based instruction designed for adult learners who thrive with experiential learning. Having this partnership in place will assist our students earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees and strengthen the local medical community.” Students will have to meet certain criteria in order to ensure seamless transfer to FSU, including:
- Successfully completing the Associate Degree in Nursing at 立博体育登录 with a GPA of 2.5 or higher
- 顺利通过NCLEX-RN考试
- Presenting a current, unrestricted RN license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
早期大学计划
立博体育登录 Community College and Framingham State University have been awarded $10,000 by the Baker-Polito Administration that will support outreach to underrepresented students in Framingham and Milford Public Schools to participate in early college programs.
Early college programs combine traditional high school courses with an opportunity to earn college credit at a public college or university, 特别是在特定的职业道路上.
